At GDB, we also got to meet the puppy raisers on graduation day. My dog's
raiser family is wonderful, and we keep in regular contact. I don't recall
asking them about toys and such, but with my dog it's pretty obvious what
she likes, I.E. everything. :)

Meeting the raiser families can vary though..last time was great, the time
before not so much. Over all, while I am personally not much interested in a
public graduation blitz, I enjoy meeting my dog's raisers, and would do it
again if I got another program dog.

Hey i am not sure how this works with all the schools, but when do you
normally get to meet the puppy raisers?

I know how the school I am going to does it. I am going to guiding
eyes and we do on graduation day.

After reading a few emails on here I got to wonder why people can't
asked the puppy raisers what kind of toys and things that their dog
might like rather than having to try to figure it out completely
themselves?
I asked one about it and was told that Pilot won't let you meet the
raisers until after six months.

How do you feel about how your school does this? Do you mind or not?
Would you rather it different?
What were some benifits to meeting your puppy raisers? What kinds of
things did you learn about your dog when you did?
