[nagdu] Exemption for Private Clubs and Religious Organizations

I am an Eagle Scout, and no one in authority ever had issues with my
participation. This is not to say that I did not catch flack from parents
and other kids, just the leaders in charge had no problems with anything I
wanted to participate in.

There are a few girls in Boy Scouts, however, it is uncommon. However, there
is a subset of boy scouts called Venture, witch is coed.

As an Eagle Scout and Assistant Scout Master, I know for a fact that there
are some gay Boy Scouts. In organizations like the Boy Scouts national
policy and what's implemented on the local level can differ. In my Boy Scout
troupe no one really cared, it was mostly a don't ask don't tell policy,
however there was no official guidance on the matter.

Not being gay myself, I don't really know if the kids who were gay were
picked on or made fun of, however, I was never a witness to someone being
made fun of for there sexual orientation. It was far more likely for them
to be picked on for any number of other reasons; however it was mostly all
in good fun. I can only remember a few instances of kids picking on each
other with malicious intent.

Hope this helps,

Mark
