Hi Ginger,
thanks for sending that link to read. Its so sad  that guide dogs are attacked all over the world. 
Yesterday my co director picked me up as I teach on Thursdays at a high school and she told me there were two loose dogs one block from my house. I walk Anna early in the morning before leaving for work at 6:30 am. I have found that to be the safest time between cars, people and loose dogs roaming.
