[nagdu] Musher's secret experiences anyone?

Sure, but I didn't measure anything or anything scientific like that!

I melted a bit of beeswax in the microwave. Heat for a short bit, stir,
heat for a short bit and stir, repeating until all was melted. I didn't
melt very much just a few tablespoons maybe.

Then I added some olive oil and stirred. Again I have no idea how much,
maybe one tablespoon? but I'm totally guessing here. I also added a few
drops of essential oil, lavender if I remember correctly.

I let this rest at room temperature until the wax solidified. I tested
to see if I liked the consistency. It was too hard so I remelted it and
added a bit more oil.

I made the paw wax in a glass container that has a plastic lid. I store
it in a cool dry place. To apply it I rub some onto my fingers and
work it into the dog's pads. My dogs haven't shown any inclination to
lick it off, but if you have a dog that does I might leave out the
essential oil.
