[nagdu] Guide Dog Adjustment

Really, what choice does either dog have? Be clear in your mind that the living arrangements are not going to change, or decide which dog will be rehomed.
Seriously, what each dog "likes" isn't important unless you are willing to rehome one of the dogs.

It really depends on the dog. Some dogs won't mind and others will. We
worked it out, but our border collie, who we had owned for more than six
years, was not happy when I brought home this big, floppy, energetic puppy
who got to go everywhere with me.

Subject: [nagdu] Guide Dog Adjustment

Hello all,

Another question for those of you who have a guide dog and pet dogs. How did
your pet dog adjust to your guide dog? Were there jealousy or aggression
issues? I imagine that this might be a big adjustment for your pet dog, so
how did you handle this?

Melissa
