Hello.

My name is Shannon Wells, and I live in WV. I got my first dog from the Seeing Eye in July of 1998. George was a lab/golden cross, and we worked together for 8 years before I had to retire him. He past away in 2007, and I've been without a dog since. However, I think it's time for another one, now that my children aren't babies anymore. I'm looking at different schools, mainly Pilot Dogs because they are closest to where I live.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and hearing about everyones' experiences with their dogs. I'm sure a few things have changed since my days of working with a dog.

A little about me. I'm married to a minister who is also a service manager at a Chevrolet dealership. We've been married 12 years now. I have 2 little girls. Faith is 6 and Kierstin is 4. We live in a small town and attend a little, country church where my husband is not the pastor. I sing  and play the piano. I enjoy baking, writing, crocheting and reading. I also enjoy taking walks and quiet mornings outside alone. I am also a homeschool parent, so things around here get crazy sometimes. lol
