I'm just getting a kick out of this subject line! Mostly women are
responding. Anyway, I've so far never worked a male! From what I see, they
seem to be a little more protective than females but I really haven't seen
that many.

Thanks, Marty. I do intend to do all I can to make it work. It's just
helpful to hear that people have had positive experiences with male dogs. My
father has raised a number of male labs who have, unfortunately, given me
kind of a negative outlook on the gender and behaviors that can be
exhibited. So, I'm just trying to soak up all the good knowledge I can
before August. (Smile)
