[nagdu] Now Experimenting with Poodles

Wow, that's interesting that they're experimenting with poodles. Remember that bit in Love In the Lead, where the French government donated a bunch of poodles to be trained as guide dogs, because they didn't want GSD's? And the poodles proved to be very intelligent but lacking in intelligent disobedience, i.e. they'd go forward on command, right into a hole? So they quit working with them. While I understand that other schools here and abroad have been working successfully with poodles for years if not decades, I wonder what magic switch was flipped, or whatever, that Jack missed out on back in the day? More idle curiosity than anything else.
