I think you will just use common sense. Don't take long walks that make you too hot. Your dog will be too hot as well, and for a while, you might stop early. The dog will be panting and need more water when you are working it. In the intense heat of the day, limit your trips to the least amount of time possible. Your dog may become lethargic if it is too hot. I know I do. Just be sensitive to how your dog is reacting to the heat.
