Debbie and Everyone,

Gregg brings up an interesting point. I think that instead of asking
for break time, you should ask for a resonable acomidation in the form
of someone to come and take your dog out if necessary. I'm sure there
are other employees at the hospital who wouldnt mind doing this. I
agree that this isn't the best situation, and I do not think that
qutting the job is the answer. After all, you need the job, but you
also need the dog. Well, you have the job; let's make sure you can
bring your dog with you. Try your boss's boss. Let me know if you
need any of the leadership from Missouri to help you with this. We
definitely will.

Also, her dog may be able to wait for 8 hours without relieving; I
know mine can, but I also know that dogs can become sick or may need
to go out unexpectedly because it had too much water that day. I
wouldn't bank on the dog being able to wait 8 hours every day.
