It's actually in Sylmar, CA which is kinda just over the Grapevine and more closer to like the Six Flags Magic Mountain part (so still in the hills a bit as you go down the back side of the pass) than to the Los Angeles city part of the basin proper.  Smaller school than GDB by a fair bit, but I have both friends with Guides from there and friends who have puppyraised for them multiple times...we helped with a couple.  Mostly labs and a few goldens, but don't quote me on that.  Haha...I just remembered that it was a GDA dog who broke my nose the second time!  I was doing the dumb thing and leaning over to pet retired Guide Arthur and he lifted his giant, black lab, lunky, block head straight up into my rather little nose.  Total accident, but amusing memory.  Not amusing at the time.  Ouchie!  Anywho, I'm not sure how GDA run things now.  The last time I was down there was
 maybe 8 years ago, but I do know someone who just got his Guide from them last year and I'm sure he'd be willing to chat if you want to talk to a grad and don't know one, Yegue.  Just let me know.
