[nagdu] overhead obstacles

Thinking about Julie's message, I found a cure which works for me.

First, let me say that even after 30 years of being owned by five dogs, I
still marvel at how well they do at avoiding most overhangs; I'm about six
fee tall.

If there are branches along constant routes, I take out my trusty Swiss army
knife and play tree surgeon with the included nasty saw. One of our city
bi-laws says that branches must be no lower than, I believe, six foot six
inches. Mr. Nasty Saw can cut a branch almost two inches thick with a
little work.

One clown decided to chastise me for destroying his tree. I explained that
I was part of our city's new affirmative action program and that they were
training me as their first blind arbologist (tree doctor.) Guess they knew
calling the city would only get them into trouble and attacking a crazy
blind man with an ugly saw in his hand would be real stupid.

Doug: branching out in some direction or other.
