Do you not like your stepmom?  I ask this in a serious way.
This sounds harmless and not worth getting upset over.
You did mention that she never takes you seriously so I'm not sure if this is the real issue or if you are taking yourself and your dog too seriously.

My thought would be to ask her to quit; if she doesn't, just leave it. It's something she's going to do. Or find someone else to spend time with. Stuff like that is truly annoying, but in a way you have to choose your battles I think.
