That's good to know about NAGDU.  I'm just sort of stunned that there have to be laws about this kind of ummm...crap.  lol  Truly.  Common courtesy and manners dictate picking up after your dog.  If you're unable, like I am, courtesy and manners still dictate that I do my best to make sure nobody is going to step in a mess.  That means either finding a very out of the way place or getting help.  I did run across someone who had interpreted this exemption to mean that if her dog left a mess on the sidewalk in a shopping center that it was totally fine for her to leave it there because she couldn't pick it up herself.  Seriously?!?!?!?  What the heck happened to common sense and manners?  Forget the laws.  I just figured I should let people know that the laws exist given that I'm in legal advocacy and all.  lol
