[nagdu] Seating

I'm doubting a bit of this story.
If the dog was getting stepped on continually, why didn't your friend and you introduce yourself to this woman and ask if there was anything she needed? Something like "I'm Lizzy and Jane, Lizzy is in the process of getting a dog, we noticed yours, and we also noticed that your dog seems to be getting stepped on a lot, would you like us to help you find another seat?".
I can't understand why you'd be so wound up about this situation and not have taken any action to both resolve it and also meet a fellow guide dog user.

Well, I do have prefered seating on the bus and in church. On the bus, I
prefer the place where they put strollers if its available because the dog
has plenty of room. In church I usually get the end pew because its a
little shorter so that Holly doesn''t hhave to get under the pew and avoid
kneelers. But, she can sit or lay in other places. As far as conventions,
classes or meetings, I just look for anywhere I can put her under the table.
Actually, Holly rarely gets stepped on because we both watch out for folks
and I can usually keep her out of the way.
