[nagdu] Learning new routes with a guide dog.

If I am learning a new route with my dog, sometimes I ask where it is. When, for instance, I learned how to get to my gym, my friend and I just drove down there and we discussed it. Later on I walked down there on the strength of the information I had received. Most of the time, this is the most practical way. There is rarely anyone at my disposal for this kind of help. I will ask along the road if there is someone to ask. I don't use many landmarks. If I can, I get help from someone first, but most of the time this is not an option. I have used a GPS, and this can be useful, but as you said, not 100%.
