[nagdu] Learning new routes with a guide dog.

I think you really just have to try it. If you have good mobility skills, it will work out for you. It can be a little daunting, but you just have to try it. If you have a device that can give you directions, one such as Google maps or MapQuest, that might work. You would have to have some idea how to get there. If you are in a hotel, you just have to ask at the desk. The biggest problem is that sometimes, often really, they leave out information. But you are likely to run into people on the street that can fill it in as you go. That's what I had to do the time I went through O'Hare looking for my gate. The first person who gave directions was good, but she left out a couple of things that would have been helpful. I got that information from others as I went along.
