[nagdu] newspaper practice at TSE was Re: First dog concerns

Well, I still don't agree with the practice, as as we now see with a dog that was just gotten. sometimes, people don't have perfect aim, and this dog was bopped in the eye and not the nose.

We don't know if any other dogs have been hit in the eye, but GOD forbid there be an injury because of a mistaken aim. Also, again, as I've said. there could be, and probably has been in the past, psychological issues if something goes wrong.

Other schools seem to handle it without striking the dog in a place on their head that could hit their eyes.

That is to say, if the dog gets too close to the moving car, it gets bopped on the nose, out the car window, with a rolled up newspaper (which John Kean called a "logic probe", LOL) Marcia, this is rarely seen in class.

It must be a new practice, as when I was there that never happened. I am not saying its right or wrong, but perhaps if we know more of how its done and how then maybe it won't sound so bad.

Which seems to be the case here.
