[nagdu] newspaper practice at TSE was Re: First dog concerns

Here's the deal. Sometimes a dog's confidence isn't there in the first place. When I got one dog, a squeaking toy was used to distract him from his work and he would get corrected for it. He came to hate squeaky toys, and, in general, that dog had little confidence. I think that we have thoughts as to how training shouldn't be, but mostly, I think that we don't have really good alternative suggestions, and most of these dogs are very conscientious about traffic and traffic checks as a result.
