[nagdu] Question: Introducing little dog to new guide dog.

I think that TSE used to believe that you needed to have just one dog, and especially your retired one should not be there. That philosophy changedat least 22 or 23 years ago. I once had a bunch of dogs and the guide I got failed. Some thought it was because of all the dogs, and I got rid of some before I got the next one. At that point, I made a decision that for a few weeks someone else would have to be in charge of my pets while the new dog and I were acclamating, but once we were bonded, I wouldn't be concerned. This bunch of dogs all (or I should say the two pets) came here after Fisher did.

And when its time to work, I put the harness on Holly and Pez buzzes around wanting to go too! I just took them both out and Holly laid down and Pez snuck up on her and play growled and got her up! Holly is 6 and Pez is 13, so he don't play much but they are still buddies and Holly's work doesn't suffer.
