Dear Bibi,
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Please don't hesitate to email me
off list if you ever need an ear or anything at all that I can do to help. I
definitely understand and have had my own share of losses. We all look
forward to hearing from you whenever you feel ready.
All the best, Hannah

Hi, all,
If you'd rather not read this, then, please, move on to other messages.
Sub says it all.
Reason for my less group participation...
Last Tuesday on April 2, 2013, my beloved husband and Odie's daddy, Dale Ray
Gilmore past away from a massive heart attack.
I had gone out for probably an hour to run a few errands such as Office
Depot, William Crow's Jeweler to get my braille watch working again and then
Odie's nails clipped.
We came back home, Odie suddenly wanted to bolt into the apartment.
I first checked to see if my husband had locked the door behind me as he
always does.
The door wasn't locked.
I opened the door, came in with Odie bolting ahead of me.
I took him out of his gear and prepared to go put stuff on the bed in the
bedroom.
On my way back out to the kitchen, I suddenly kicked something, but really
didn't think on it until after I made my trip to the bathroom.
I came back out and my foot hit something again.
A sixth sense told me I'd betterh check the floor.
I bent down to the floor and there, was, my husband.
I tried ten chest compressions and mouth to mouth CPR three times.
Nothing happened, so I knew I needed more help.
I raced to the bedroom, grabbed the phone with the speaker on it and called
9 1 1 , described the emergency situation of what had happened.
The fire department, paramedics and police showed up less than five minutes.
I was asked to grab my cane and step out into the hallway as well as Odie.
After what seemed like ten minutes, the fire fighters and paramedics emerged
from the a apartment with Dale on a stretcher, letting me know he wasn't
breathing.
I asked if I could get some assistance getting down to the hospital as I
couldn't wait for the bus.
A fire fighter told me they couldn't take me and to speak with the office in
my apartment complex.
I wasn't happy with that response because I already know my leasing office
won't do anything.
I was thankful there was still a police officer on scene and she did offer
to assist me by rushing Odie and I to the hospital in the back of her police
car.
I was in the family room in the emergency room for what seemed like twenty
minutes or more.
Doctors came in and told me that Dale had died.
One Memorial Service was held yesterday and another one will be held on
Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
Odie and I are both struggling to keep it together as all of this happened
so suddenly.
I definitely did a lot of crying the rest of the week and Odie was very
depressed each day.
I was asked if I'd still live in the same apartment and I plan to do so.
Am not sure when I'll be able to post to many of the lists I'm on as I still
have a whole lot to do and get through with.
Dale will be cremated after all is said and done.
I will be able to have his ashes and my husband will always be with me
wherever I go.
It will take Odie a while to perk back up, but I'm sure he will do so.
Well, enough from me, so talk with you'alls soon.
Bibi and son Odie
the happy spirited bounty labrawolf
who will always miss our beloved husband and daddy
