I'm terrified of pools and stay as far away from them as I can. Actually
broke my fused knee falling into one when I was seventeen. But I think I'd
have laughed my head off if my dog jumped in a pool every day like yours
did. That's adorably cute. On the other hand, if the dog pulled me in the
pool, that would be the last time I'd ever work the dog, if it happened
while the dog was working.

One thing to think about,
the day you are dressed in a suit and dog decides it is time to go 
swimming, do not correct dog if you are led into the water in your suit.
the only suit you have.
As I shared many times before, my first dog was trained how to swim.
the dog didn't do this, at school, but one girls dog did.
She was dress for graduation where the dog took her to the pool and in 
the  pool they went.
I lived in an apartent with a pool.
My apartment was on second floor praise the Lord.
We would come home from rehab, when the dog would jerk away from me, 
jump into pool harness and all, take one lap, get out shake and then 
come back to me.
I called SanRafael sharing my delima.
I was told by a counsler that I didn't know how to handle a dog, that 
they need to put on my record that I shouldn't get another one because 
I was allowing the dog to go swimming in harness.
I stayed calm even though I was plum mad.
I asked until they see this happen, have an instructor come to rehab, 
we will walk home, then he can take the dog show me how to handle the 
matter, and I will do my best.
I shared if the dog goes up to the elevator with no problems, I buy 
dinner, if dog goes swimming in harness instructor buys dinner.

So instructor comes from the school, meets me at rehab, we walk home 
seven blocks.
I give instructor leash as we are entering building.
Dog jerks out of his hand goes swimming with harness comes back to me 
after the shake.
My reply was, dinner is on you.
Instructor was so shocked he said he would let the school know that 
this wasn't my fault that the dog just loved to take a swim rite after 
she got back from work.
Until I moved out of the building, unless I had the collar up to her 
chin we did this event daily threw the week, because she knew she did a 
good job at work.
The best you can do for your dog is to get out walk with it, giving it 
praise and the dog will climb mountains for you.

There are many ways to play with a dog with out having the dog in water.
Gee my dog gets a drop of rain you would think the heavens are coming 
down uupon him.
He hates water.
Sprinklers are really a trip for him smile.
