I am very close to my dog and had planned a cruise in Nov. but  the
requirements to get off the ship in 5 different countries has become
problematic. My wife could be my dog on the cruise, haha, but I have a real
problem thinking about leaving him behind for seven days for his feelings as
much or more than mine.

I have heard that dogs can't distinguish time like we do and five hours or
five days have the same feeling to them. Any thought?
