I was a bit concerned after our board meeting call last night.
I am the last one to want anyone to lose out on their chance to have a guide
dog. I was sent home from one school, and my present school did more than I
could ever ask to help me be successful.

Darla, the dogs pick it up really quickly. I never actually formally taught
this. I just guided them with the leash the first couple times, and they
figured it out right away. I do use "over here," or "switch,"
in Diamond's case, with revolving doors, of course.
