[nagdu] Dog Day Stories

Hi all! I'm happy to share my dog story with you all. When dog day
arrived, everyone in my class at Leader Dogs was extatic. I exited my
room to find most of my classmates sitting in the lounge cheering
about it being a happy dog day. IN the morning, we practiced healing
and parking dogs. They weren't our real dogs. They were just pet dogs
belonging to the instructors or other dogs from the kennil. At lunch,
my instructor approached the table where myself and the other three
students in her particular class sat. She told us what order our dogs
would come in. Luckily, I was the first one to get my dog. At 1:00
PmM, my instructor knocked on my door. When she entered, she asked if
I wanted to hear about my dog. I happily agreed and she began. She
told me the dog's name is Sophie. She's a golden lab cross who was
born on January 11, 2012. She then asked if I had any questions. When
I said no, I handed her my leash and she went to collect and park my
dog. When she knocked on my door again, I Happily answered and was
greeted bya perky dog. She jumped on me and began vigorously sniffing
me. My sinstructor said the dog liked me. After a few minutes of
climatizing, she left me alone to start bonding with my new friend. At
first, Sophie cried for my instructor, but this behavior stopped
pretty quickly once we started practicing heeling in the hallways .I
couldn't believe my luck in jgetting such a beautiful dog, and I'm
still thankful to herfor her to this day.
