That sounds like misinformation to me. I thought the guy's income level was such that he wouldn't be able to care for the dog. I heard it on "Good Morning America" or was it "CBS This morning." I don't know but it was on CBS, so whatever. I haven't paid enough attention to really give much input, but I thought it was just an income thing.
