Jewel.
I wouldn't worry about them taking her away.
You will be still working her and taking care of her.
Shannon is right that you own her.
Besides, there are people that have guide dogs and only take them to the
mail box and out to relieve themselves.
If you are concerned call your school and talk with them and and they can
advise you more.
Good luck and hang in there.
Blessings and best wishes,
Melissa R. Green and Pj

Subject: [nagdu] Can they do it?
Due to mental and physical illness, I am moving to a group home. But this
change will not affect my work with my guide dog, as I will be going out
every day, especially whim I start attending university in the fall. I have
a few friends who said the guide dog school might take Faye away because id
my placement in a group home. I signed papers taking ownership of her, and I
will continue her annual vet visits and medicine. Will they take her away?
It would be taking my independence away as Faye helps me get around every
day.
Worried,
Jewel
