Becky, I wonder if you took the dog to the concert. How did it go? I think people have covered this pretty well. The bottom line is, do you feel comfortable taking the dog? What seems to be the dog's temperament? What sort of concert is/was it? I took a dog to an outdoor concert once, but the 1812 Overture was played there complete with canons. My dog freaked, and after that she rather gradually developed a terror of noise, but most concerts don't do that. So you just have to use your best judgment.
