[nagdu] people who persist in petting

Maybe you can say just that to her. I don't want to sound rude or for 
you to feel as though I am disrespecting you, but by not respecting my 
wishes to have Wizard not pet while in harness, you are endangering our 
safety and disrespecting all we have worked to become.
