[nagdu] Crossing a highway

Hi Cindy.
I don't think fears are shameful. One just has to work to keep them from
taking over. Sometimes I still have to gather up my nerve before I sally
forth. Things can be scary. But it's worse to allow myself to become a
prisoner in my house, afraid to go where I want to go.
And some situations are just dangerous. I worked very hard to get an
audible signal put in at a T intersection near my house, so I could cross
the street without taking my life in my hands. It's made a big difference in
where I feel safe going.
Tracy

I told that to Walt Sutton. LOL. But of course you have to develop a healthy
respect for traffic. I don't go enough, and the places hereare challenging.
I can walk around easily downtown, but out here where I live, I have
developed some shameful fears.
