[nagdu] Hot Asphalt Awareness!

Aloe? I use it for people burns. I have never heard or read that it's
harmful to dogs. It tastes nasty so maybe that's a deterrent to licking? I
don't know.

Two questions: Any ideas about concrete? You know, the stuff sidewalks
are made of. do not think they get as hot, but they are still a
concern. Second question is what to do for dog if they do get burned
pads? Does anybody have any good treatments that help and are not
immediately licked off? Tomorrow I am spending day in Phoenix. It
should get to 106 degrees and I appreciate the reminder to take her
shoes, but with temps like that I anticipate that even with shoes
covering the pads, they will get hot. I generally prefer herbal
treatments for her rather than chemical, but will take suggestions.
