Actually, baby powder is talcum powder with fragrance. Talc is made from a
very soft stone known as "soap stone" which is pulverized. Putting talc on
your dog helps dirt and lloose dander fall away more easily and, to the best
of my knowledge, is not harmful to your dog. If it were, it would likely be
harmful to a baby, as well!

Agree. Also baby powder is miserable for anybody that has a breathing
problem. Your dog is supposed to smell like a dog just like people are
supposed to smell like people. If your dog doesn't smell right you would do
well to investigate the cause or the source.
