Hi Melissa,

Finally, a group for Colorado. I have been searching/waiting for something
in Colorado. Sometimes I feel like I am the only handler in Colorado who
would like to be part of a user group. I occasionally come across another
guide dog and human but it is usually in a crowded scenario, and I am unable
to exchange any information. I belong to the GDB alumni group, but it is not
very active, meets only quarterly, and consists of only a handful of users.
I may be getting too optimistic here, but I look forward to the call.
If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know. I am in the
Denver area.

      The NFB of Colorado is starting a guide dog division!!!  We will be
looking at issues that affect guide dog users across the state of Colorado
and want your input and ideas as we get this project moving.  If you are a
guide dog user, are a friend or family member of a guide dog user, are a
blind person who is thinking about getting a guide dog, or just generally
think guide dogs are awesome and want to be apart of our group please join
