Agreed. One time, the driver opened the driver side door of the back seat
for me, so I got in first with Lexia following. Her tail was not quite all
the way in, and the driver accidentally shut her tail in the door. He
certainly did not mean to and felt really bad, but that was the last time
that I took that chance.

Just be sure you know where the dog's tail is before the driver slams the
door, especially if you're on the opposite side from the open door, and the
dog is next to it.
