Good point!  Monty's tail is docked. sometimes I forget what is necessary 
when your dog does have a tail.  Belle is older now and has difficulty 
climbing up into the pickup truck, so we don't take her places that often. I 
can't believe I've had Monty for 5 years now.

Just be sure you know where the dog's tail is before the driver slams the
door, especially if you're on the opposite side from the open door, and the
dog is next to it.
