[nagdu] Paws and Apartments

I'm very glad this came up. I'm going on Tuesday to discuss this with my
landlord. I've been living in this (no dogs) apartment for almost 2 years,
but it looks like I'll probably start training with my guide dog later this
month or early April, so it's time to have the conversation. My hope is
that I'll go in and not have any trouble at all. My fear is that they'll
take issue and I'll have to start quoting the FHA. I know in the end they
can't legally deny me since a guide dog is a reasonable accommodation, but
I'd much prefer to avoid having an awkward situation that could lead to
tensions later. Fingers crossed it works out fine Tuesday. And my fingers
are crossed for you, too, Mark, that all goes well with your apartment
hunt!
