Hi Marion and all,

My fiancee decided to call Enterprises back this afternoon and
cancel the rental car that we had reserved for this weekend. The reason he
decided to cancel the rental car at Enterprises was because of them giving
me a hard time about the dog and my fiancee found a better rate at another
car rental place.

We stopped in at Hertz car rental and got a much better rate with them and
they welcomed my dog with open arms. Hertz has no problems with me having my
dog in the rental car. In fact, my faincee told the man at Hertz this
afternoon the reason he canceled the car with Enterprises was because of the
man giving me a hard time with having my dog in their car. The man at Hertz
welcomed my guide to ride in their car.

My fiancee has rented a car from both Enterprises and Hertz before and I
had no issues with my guides being in the rental car. I always put a sheet
down in the rental car for my dog to alay on. Once were done with the car I
always vaccum out the car to make sure that there's no hair left behind in
the car and had no problems with getting our deposit back. I also brush
my dog out real good before I put him into the car to hopefully cut down on
the amount of hair.

Also back in 2005, when I was at Leader Dogs training with my previous dog
Leo a German Shepherd. My fiancee rented a car from Hertz to come and pick
me and my guide up from Leader Dogs in Michigan and drove us back home to
Ohio. Hertz made sure that my fiancee had a big enough car so that my dog
would be comfortable riding in the car.

Now I have a question. Someone here on list mentioned that I should get the
corporate number from Enterprises website and file a complaint. Can I do
this or not?

Also I'll make sure I'll never mention the dog again.

Marion thank you for offering your contact information to me if I needed to
contact you. I appreciate that. Take care.

Lori and the Gipper
