Hi, all,
Sub says it all.
I ended up having some Comcast technical dificulties for the past four to five days.
Happily, it's all fixed.
Odie and I are doing well and moving forward.
He's still missing his daddy, but as time goes on, he'll come out of his shell some more.
I gave him his bath in the middle of the night and I find it the best time to do so.
He's all shiny and smells clean.
I'll brush him tomorrow evening so he can have a break from brushing.
We went for our walk again to 7 11 on 18th and Lawrence Street.
Happily, we didn't encounter the same dogs that tried to go after us a week or two back.
Bowling season is going to end this weekend on the 18th and we'll have the summer off.
Since my power chair is all fixed and working again, I go back to doing my O&M lessons starting this Friday afternoon.
My instructor Brook is filling out the GDF application to send in and she's already sent the DVD portion.
It took take up to three years for me to get a wheelchair trained guide which was what Brook told me that she was informed by the school.
I am not in a hurry to have another dog just yet.
I need to respect Odie's feelings for the time being and allow the two of us to still be partners.
The two of us plan to stay busy during the summer months so we don't end up with bordisum.
As for the Colorado weather, we ended up in the 80's today and yesterday.
It's trying to rain and I hope we can get the rain at least.
I don't mind that, but am not fond of the thunder, lightning, hail or tornadic winds.
I can do without those four.
However, that's not how mother nature sees it.
Finally, our air conditioning is on and both Odie and I are happy to have it.
Of course, I don't plan on taking it for granted as like other electronics, it could break down too.
Well, I've written enough, so shall end right here.
Just wanted to let everyone know that Odie and I are still around and kicking it.
