[nagdu] Guide Dog Use at national Convention

Hi Bridget that will work fine. You do not need to take the harness off or
anything. I put him at a sit, hold the end of a long leash with my left
hand and go through security then once I am well through I call him to me
and the alarm will go off. The security people then pat him down and Viggo
loves it! That's all there is to it. As long as you do not set the alarm
off you should be OK. Remember to take anything metal away in your Perce or
carry on or in the bin with your shoes including change. If you bring a
computer of any kind it needs to be out of its case and placed in the bin.
they usually take you to a little side room to check the dog so the line can
keep moving. I always ask for a personal passenger assistant which is a
new program from the TSA who are better trained or at least are suppose to
be trained to assist people with disabilities.
