[nagdu] Off leash recall

Hi,
When I was at Leader getting Jada, I started Off-leash obedience right away. I started in their fenced in play area.
Once I trusted her, I moved it in to my room.
Once she was ok with toys and other distractions, I started obedience in the hallway.
Again, Leader wasn't happy with me having my dog off-leash in the public areas of the facilities, but they understood my reasoning.
The reason I needed her to be good at off-leash obedience is because my parents house has no fence in the back yard, and I wanted Jada to be able to run and exercise if need be.
I would recommend get the dog wound up, then, at random, start giving obedience commands. It will get them to pay attention to you more.

Also, when was the six month break, and why did that happen? if you don't mind me asking?
That may also be part of the problem if for whatever reason, your dog lost trust in you...

beet me know if I was of any help...

Best of luck to you!

Abby
