Thanks for the heads up about the potatos! I checked on that, and it 
appears that raw potatoes can be poisonous if they are green from 
exposure to sunlight after harvesting. Guess they can be for humans, 
too. Real poisonings are rare, which is lucky for me because I love raw 
potatoes, too.
