Having someone else hold the dog would be a good idea as my experience is
that it is really difficult to work a dog afterwords.

I was told by my ear doctor that I'll be put to sleep for the surgery and
that it is a same-day surgery.

I do have someone coming with me, so they might be willing to wait with
Motley in the waiting room.

I could leave Motley at home, but he barks due to separation anxiety, so
leaving him at home isn't an option.

Chantel,
This will be one you will want to think through.  First, consider if you are
going to have any type of sedation.  I am guessing it won't be a general,
but possibly a conscious sedation which will render you pretty much unable
to fully use Motley.  I am guessing it will be a same day surgery?  I would
definitely ask lots of questions beforehand so you can make an informed
decision as what to do with Motley.

On October 29th, I'm having surgery to repair my left eardrum. 

 

I was wondering where my dog Motley would be allowed to go?

 

I know he isn't allowed to go in the operating room, but other than that, I
am nhot sure.
