Chantel,
I am replying before I have read any of the replies, so please forgive me if I've mentioned anything that has already been said...
Good luck with your surgery. I have a lot of experience with surgeries, so I can offer a little advice. After all, I am having eye surgery number 39 on October 16th. I know that with my eye surgeries, that after them I will feel really crappy and will not be able to do any bending or lifting. So, I choose to leave Pascal at home, since I know I will not be able to work him afterwards.
As for ear surgery, I don't know what the limitations are for after the procedure. I suspect that they don't want you to do anything strenuous after it though. Also, the anesthesia may affect you and you may not physically be able to work your dog.
But, if you do decide to take him, you can have whoever is with you watch him while you are actually in the OR.
Good luck, and keep us posted.
Deanna and Pascal

Subject: [nagdu] ear surgery

Hello all,

On October 29th, I'm having surgery to repair my left eardrum.

I was wondering where my dog Motley would be allowed to go?

I know he isn't allowed to go in the operating room, but other than that, I am nhot sure.

Thanks for your responses.

Chantel and Motley, of Pilot Dogs
