[nagdu] special Needs Program at Guiding Eyes

Probably. I have a friend who can hear and respond in conversation but can't
hear things like alarm clocks, police sirens, phones ringing, things like
that. 
He had a hearing dog for quite some time. 
He's said his biggest problem is people think he's screwing around when he
doesn't respond appropriately to certain sounds but then can talk like a
person who can hear normally.

Yes, I am deaf-blind. I wear hearing aids in both ears. However, I can hear
to communicatein most situations. I cannot however hear traffic very well. I
think it's the frequency of the sound of traffic.
