[nagdu] Dust and dry-eye?

Hey,

The rain has arrived, but Jenny's eyes have still been watering, and there's been little bits of goo at the corners. Yesterday it was VERY dusty and the discharge was worrisome, but the rain seems to have improved things today for the most part. Jenny is eating, drinking, playing, everything normally, and her guide work has been great... I did make a vet appointment for tonight, and am still going to take her. If dusty conditions bother her on a regular basis, I'd like to know how to deal with it now... at least they can check her out.

I am a little apprehensive because I am new to this vet... I know I need to not act nervous because Jenn will pick up on it. I have enough treats to make twenty dogs happy... does anyone else have any pointers on first-vet-visit?

Daryl and Jenny (who is tired of Mommy checking out her face)

I wouldn't be too worried if it's not bothering her. Just wipe her face and eyes with a warm damp cloth to help keep the dirt out of her eyes. If the problem persists and seems to bother her, then consult the vet. In the meantime, you can also contact your vet for other suggestions. Hth
