[nagdu] Doggie eating chicken?

Thanks all for the pointers!  I didn't realize we didn't have the organs for the chicken, but I froze the chicken neck and gave it to her in her food bowl along with a little bit of kibble and some carrot.  She ate the kibble and the carrot, eating around the chicken neck, then picked up the chicken neck and took it to her "treat spot". LOL  She ate everything slowly, and she loved it!

Some dogs have allergies to chicken. If Jenny does not, then you should 
be fine, so long as the parts haven't been sitting out enough to become 
germ factories.

Cooked chicken bones can splinter and cause internal injuries, but raw 
chicken bones are okay. In fact, frozen chicken or turkey necks are 
great for clean teeth. I used to do that with Mitzi, but it grosses my 
husband out, so I have to buy expensive stuff to keep her teeth clean. 
When I'm at my sister's, our dogs get their frozen natural dental treats 
along with their cousin Charlie. My husband shudders and whines, but the 
rest of us are quite happy. /lol/
