Good points, Tracy; where this was located, I don't think anyone had been
sleeping there, as I discourage them from sleeping out toward the middle of
the floor, but that is certainly worth considering.

I forgot to say that incontinence seems to happen most often when the dog is
asleep.  The dog is totally unaware of it.  Scolding the dog, or rushing it
out, are not helpful in cases of incontinence.  It's a medical issue.
