[nagdu] A Heads up to Guide Dog users on Section 8

I just got my re-certification paperwork and was blown away by a new change 
they have made regarding counting service animal expenses. You now MUST have 
a reasonable accommodation completed through Housing which includes your 
service animal. My case worker(s) have never shared this with me before and 
my experience with filing them for other issues, is that Housing takes quite 
some time to do the process-- certainly longer than the month I have. I find 
this change and the way I discovered it to be ridiculous when they have been 
counting expenses for Thane for 6 years now. Ordinarily I would not find 
this to be a problem, but a couple weeks before everything is due is NOT the 
time to have this disclosed. I don't want anyone else to be blindsided like 
this. Contact your case workers and get those RA's done now. They are only 
good for 2 years so you have to keep doing them as long as you have a 
service animal that you want to count expenses for. A part of me wonders if 
this added redtape is their way of trying to reduce counting of expenses.
