I'm okay with your choice of breed, but it's the first time I hear this reason. I've heard that people choose the Poodle because of allergies or because of the breed's personality. However, other breeds shed, but you don't get covered in fur only if you touch the dog if it's coat is well taken care of. It's my experience and I've a Labrador. Good luck with your choice!
