Here is some other ideas for dogs who eat too fast. My husband's first labby
had this problem. He ate so fast the food came up later. A puppy raiser on
another list suggested putting a large baked potato sized rock in his bowl
that the dog had to eat around. This went to other ideas, like feeding in a
Bunt pan or Jell-O mold. Some schools suggest wetting the food or even
floating the food in  a ration of water.

 

Just some other ideas that work.
